Boy do I love West Seattle. Home since 1991, and for the forseeable.
I live in North Admiral near Hamilton Viewpoint. Quiet, green with a view. And now I work at home. Life is good.
Life on this side of the bridge is a little different. Woods and the beach; eagles and coyotes. A cluster of neighborhoods, each distinct. A growing number of interesting small restaurants. Beveridge continues to delight. Freshy's makes me happy, very happy. Metropolitan Market and PCC are but blocks apart and Trader Joe's opens next year.
Dare I say we enjoy the best neighborhood blog in town and a Sunday farmer's market with real farmers and your neighbors. Together. Did I mention the art walk on the second Thursday of the month? I just did.
Having grown up in Cleveland, there's something satisfying crossing the upper bridge and looking at the steel mill and the port. The funny thing is, I have two brothers. One lives here a few blocks from me.

Eddie Vedder lives here and sometimes uses the pseudonum Wes C. Addle. Get it?
